Initial psychological counseling for crises around the birth
100,000 of all mothers and at least 8% of all fathers in Germany fall ill with depression (so-called peri- or postpartum depression, PPD) each year during pregnancy or after the birth of a child.
Are you often sad and depressed? The expected feeling of happiness has failed to materialise? You hardly recognise yourself, are plagued by insecurities and fears or are frightened by your own thoughts. Perhaps you are still struggling with the effects of the birth, which went quite differently than you had hoped? You feel exhausted and overwhelmed as a mother or father? Everything is completely different from what you imagined or wished for.
There is support and help for you, your child and your family.
