Information about the Oberursel Pass
The town on Oberursel supports its citizens that have a low income by providing them with the Oberursel Pass. The introduction of the Oberursel Pass was decided by the municipal council and serves to facilitate participation in community life for those who have a low income.
Who is eligible for the Oberursel Pass?
Anyone living in Oberursel who receives benefits as per the Social Code (SGB II, SGB XII), the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act (AsylbLG), the Housing Benefit Act (WoGG), or receives a child benefit supplement is eligible for the Oberursel Pass.
The Oberursel Pass provides the following discounts:
- 50% reduction on course fees of the Oberursel Adult Education Centre (VHS)
- 50% reduction on the course fees of the Oberursel Music School
- 100% reduction of the course fee of Familientreff e.V. Oberursel
- Free borrowing from the public library. Furthermore, there is the possibility to use the internet free of charge for up to 5 hours per week.
- Opportunity to participate in the "Bad Homburger Tafel - Tafel im Hochtaunuskreis" branch in Oberursel, Wallstraße 24.
- Possibility of obtaining the 1-EURO culture pass of the Frankfurt association "Kultur für alle e. V.". Details on the offers within the framework of the 1-EURO Culture Pass can be found on the association's website at www.kulturpass.net.
- Exemption from dog tax
- Participation in the Kulturloge Hochtaunus
- 50 % reduction on admission prices for KSFO events.
- Free distribution of remaining tickets for KSFO events.
- 50 % reduction for paid events of the city, e.g. in the Forum for Youth and Culture.
